Charlie North
Founder & Creative Director

Sam has taken a keen interest in photography from an early age. After graduating from Kings College London with a BA in War Studies, his cameras have taken him all over the world, with images printed in The Times, Tatler, GQ, and Gentleman's Journal, amongst others.

One of the proudest moments in his career so far has been getting a photo selected for a Royal Mail First Class Stamp. The shot, of a prancing horse and rider from the King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, reflects Sam's close relationship with the British Armed Forces, whom he loves to catch on ceremonial duties and in quieter moments.

Sam's informal reportage shooting is well suited to wedding photography, where he strives to work in concert with couples to capture that most memorable of days with a style and understatement that will remain timeless.

In his travels, Sam has forged a strong relationship with a number of polo teams and clubs, and is frequently asked to shoot polo matches on different continents, including on Urs Schwartzenbach's private grounds in the outback of Australia, and at the Maharajah of Jodhpur's own club in Rajasthan, where Winston Churchill played his first chukka.
